13 Supercars Seized From Illegal Street Racing Teens

Yeah, you read that right – rich Canadian kids on their way home from school got caught by the Mounties for driving recklessly.

The kids even bothered to coordinate their vehicle choices and colors so no one ever drives into the embarrassing situation of wearing the same dress to prom and being caught driving the same car.

They were spotted dragging to speeds of ~125mph (200 kph) while a few of the cars slowed down in unison to clear traffic.

The best part? All the cars had green “N” decals on the rear window – the required Canadian equivalent of our learner’s permits. Under Canadian law, the cars will all be held for 7 days on impound, and then the court system will decide what should be done with the $2.6mil worth of the vehicular coin.

The cars included:

  • Aston Martin DB9
  • Ferrari 599
  • 2 Lamborghini Gallardos
  • Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
  • Mercedes SLS AMG
  • Audi R8
  • Maserati Quattroporte
  • Nissan GTR (One of the poor kids, we assume?)
  • And a few others not pictured in the video.

Watch out – the reckless driving laws in Canada are taken much more seriously than in the U.S. In fact, the punishment is likely to be permanent seizure and liquidation of several of the vehicles. If the mounties could help it, it would be all, but where rich kids are, daddies and their lawyers are soon to follow.
