A Rouge Murcielago Spotted In…Orem?

By | June 8, 2010

Lamborghini MurcielagoWhile Utah certainly isn’t an Orange County or New York for spotting a constant stream of exotics rides, every now and then something special does pop up and turn some heads on the road. Or the parking lot in this situation.

A loyal Derbi sent in pictures of this beautiful 1st-gen Lamborghini Murcielago in a eye-catching yellow at a business park in Orem. Rumor on the street has it that this yellow spyder belongs to an exec over at Omniture, but regardless of who the owner is, we give them major props for driving the Lambo around town as an everyday car.

What’s the fun of having these things just cooped up in an air-conditioned garage, right?

Hat tip to the “don’t use my name” Derbi who sent these in- you know who you are!

That’s awesome! I think this belongs to John Pestana who was a cofounder of Omniture and is now over at ObservePoint. If it’s him, he also has a GTR, F430, and Audi R8. We’ve got to get him as a guest on the podcast. :)

Amen to that! The guy has a most excellent taste in cars. Do you know if the R8 is the 8 or the 10?

@Chad – It’s the 8. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s planning on getting the 10 though. His R8 is the most beautiful sky blue. Do you really think that’s good taste in cars? It comes across as very default. If I had a 4 car garage and near-unlimited resources, those would be the probably the first 4 cars that came to my mind. I think it’s possible to be lots more creative in choice than the first 4 cars people would expect. Maybe this would be a better discussion for the podcast :)
