Aston Martin Unveils The AM-310 Concept

By | May 29, 2012

Aston Martin has always had an act for creating beautiful automobiles.  From the DBR to the One-77 they have almost all been simply stunning.  You may have seen recent spy photos on the web of a new Aston in the works thought to be the next DB9 all covered up in the usual camo wardrobe.  Well, the boys over at Aston Martin decided to show it off at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este held at scenic Lake Como, Italy, a fitting place to unveil such a stunning piece of art.

While Aston Martin has yet to reveal anything on the car, other than the car itself, it is safe to say it will have a 6.0L V12 with 500+ HP and judging by the front bumper, side mirrors, and door runners it will have carbon fiber galore!  Furthermore, the car looks to be built on the same platform as the latest Aston Martin, the Virage, only with a more aggressive facade.

Until more is revealed on the car check out this video in Full HD.  But do yourself a favor and make sure to wear a bib to keep the drooling off your keyboard.

Pretty dang good lookin’! I love the curvaceous treatments that they gave the hood intakes. Don’t like the back at all – looks cheap. The front grill looks rad.

I really like it, drool… The back is tied together pretty well, although perhaps they should have done a little more with it since that’s what most people are going to see when you are driving along with a 500 HP V12!

Yes it’s absolutely gorgeous, but I’m going to be the one to say it: if you lined it up with a DBS, DB9, Virage, etc, etc I still couldn’t tell you which one was which. Aston’s similarity make even 911s look radically different :) That’s not to say they’re not beautiful cars though.
