Aston Martin’s Rapide Gets A Price Tag

Aston Martin Rapide PriceRemember the Rapide, the sorry looking 4 door saloon car from Aston Martin? It shouldn’t be hard to remember considering it’s the heart-breaker of the best looking lineup of cars in the world. Now the British car maker has officially released the pricing on the car, giving us a second dose of Rapide heart-break.

Although littered with some goodies like a fancy German-named sound system and dual cast breaks, the entry level sedan starts at a whopping price of $231,000. And just like any other basic level supercar, the options available will soon take that price up to a near bailout level.

The Rapide will begin deliveries next March and Aston says only 2000 will be produced the first year. And even though the Rapide represents the bastard child of the Aston Martin family, I would admittedly rather see more of those driving around than their Porsche and Maserati competitors.

For the record, I and the rest of the world think that this car is awesome. As president of the world, I speak for them.
