Auto Soup: Bugatti Crashes, Brazilian GTA And Gran Turismo Gets Delayed…Again

Sometimes the world of motoring gives us a bit more news that we can handle on a weekly basis. Actually, make that all the time. So in an effort to bring you news that isn’t as important as, say, a fugly new Chrysler or and article that can incorporate a Kirstie Alley joke into, we bring you a new editorial series we’ve decided to call ‘Auto Soup’.

In this tasty new series The Daily Derbi will give you a concentrated dose of slightly “less-than-perfect” car news that we’ve neglected in the past few days but think you should be aware of. Because we care like that.

Bugatti Crashes Into Toyota

For some reason the Bugatti Veyron is the benchmark for two things: power-to-weight ratio comparisons and exotic crash videos. Here’s one of the latter:

Gran Turismo 5 Gets Released!

Gran Turismo 5Ok, that’s a complete lie. It’s been delayed, again. As the November release date neared, the developers at Polyphony realized that they still need more time. So when can we expect to see the game now? “Sometime this holiday season” is the official response.

We say give Gran Turismo 5 an official release date by tattooing that date on one of your developer’s arm.

I be painin’ for that Veyron…and those poor motorcyclists…but I’m done painin’ for the release date of GT5.
