Honda Ends Element Production

Honda Element

Sad news of the day comes as America’s favorite box car from Japan is scheduled to end production after a final run of 2011 models. According to Honda, most customers prefer the CR-V crossover to the Element, largely due to better gas mileage and better refinement. Apparently it’s not an element-al part of Honda’s future (lame joke).

Gran Turismo 5 Is Basically Real Life

Gran Turismo 5 boasts the most cars, the most tracks, and the most tuning options of any racing game ever made. And because it’s the newest iteration of the most successful racing game series, it can be reasonably assumed that it should look and feel more realistic than ever.

But just how close the game comes to reality is hard to measure unless you have a comparison of one of Gran Truismo’s tracks to it’s real life counterpart in the same car. Fortunately for us, someone decided to take this responsibility upon himself in his BMW E92 M3. And we’re even more fortunate that the track he decided to compare was no other than Germany’s Nürburgring.

The side by side comparison below makes us certain that given a couple more generations of Gran Turismo and real racing will be obsolete.

New Audi A6 Looses Eyeliner/Eyes

Audi A6

Audis are currently the choice of vehicles for cocks according to Jeremy Clarkson and the rest of Top Gear. In fact, Audi themselves even prove that point in their “our Christmas lights are cooler than yours because ours are actually an Audi headlight with LED eyeliner” commercial (see below).

Now, Audi has ditched the glowing eyeliner that surrounds their headlights and and, if you look closely, the actual lights too. In their place now rests a very modern LED lighting system- that’s right, no bulbs. And gee, if LED eyeliner on your car makes you the envy of your Christmas-light obsessed neighbors, then imagine how cool and awesome this 100% LED headlamp will make you at the gym (or wherever Audi-driving bros hang out).

Sad news…. about the Honda Element… Hell NO!!! nnThat thing is what’s wrong with the car makers of the world. They created an eyesore of a vehicle. The auto world just released a sigh of relief that the eco-nazi car haters of the the planet have failed. nnLong live the beautiful, customizable, hot rod-able, fun to drive car.

I wish my Beetle had eyeliner lights. I’d get it some eyelashes to match.nnI actually really liked the Element. It was different looking – and not in a BAD way like the FJ Cruiser… That’s really a bummer.
