Autorama SLC: Pristine Lamborghini Countach Is Everything A Supercar Should Be

By | March 6, 2011

Lamborghini Countach

This is the Lamborghini Countach. Many of you will already know it, but for any first timers, welcome to the car that embodies everything that an exotic supercar should be. It’s got the outrageous ‘I can get any girl to sleep with my driver’ look, it’s really powerful, and exceptionally rare. This particular example we spotted at Autorama SLC is an extra limited 25th Anniversary edition, one of only 658 ever made. Better yet, the odometer boasts an insanely low 2800 miles, making this Countach as pristine as the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

Looks aside, it’s also got the numbers. 0-60 is done in a very quick 4.2 seconds, crazy fast considering this car was built in 1989 and is as big as Kirstie Alley with pie. Top speed clocks in around 195mph, thanks to the 490hp from the big Lambo V12. The ‘God Rules’ license plate also proves that the Countach is the choice of wheels for divine beings. We couldn’t agree more.

Wait, why can the Countach do 0-60 in 4.2 when the Diablo that replaced it could only do it in 4.7? The Countach is definitely the embodiment of supercar status – especially having to sit halfway out of the car in order to reverse. Still makes me drool.

This particular Countach had a performance exhaust that had been custom tuned, at least according to the plaque by the car.

Ahh, nice! The glory of not stock.
