Ken Block to Race Fords in WRC

When Subaru made the decision to pull out of the WRC (World Rally Championship) many were left wondering what on Earth Ken Block will do with his time besides doing donuts around mannequins and filming Top Gear segments. Well wonder no more.
Reports have surfaced that Kenny will be racing the WRC for the Monster Energy Drink World Rally Team. The now Subaru-less racer will compete in a 2009-spec Ford Focus with teammate Chris Atkinson. Yes, the famous Impreza driver will now be behind the wheel of an all-American car. In fact, it’s speculated that the new Monster duo will start the 2010 season in a rally-spec Ford Fiesta which, needless to say, would be awesome.
And as much as the Daily Derbi wants to see a Gymkhana 7.2 or Dirt 3, we’ll be willing to let Ken go win some events and have some fun with Atkinson for the time being. Incidentally, here is one of the first pictures to pop up on a “Ken Block” Google search:
