Utah Maybach 57

We recently uncovered an economic downturn here in Utah causing people to dump their beloved Aston Martins along the roadside with a rather tacky “for sale by owner” sign. Well, we’re pleased to report that the downturn has ended, at least for this Maybach 57 owner.

While a common site in the Hollywood hills, Maybachs are far and few between here in good ‘ol Utah. When we found this one, it was lovingly parked next to a VW Jetta in the Nordstrom parking lot. (Where else would a Maybach owner be shopping, Sears? We think not.)

You’d think that someone of this particular tax bracket would have excellent taste but the choice of wheels adorning this land yacht scream quite the contrary. We’re pretty sure we’ve seen these exact wheels on about a thousand or two of the soccer-mom-driven Escalades crowding our urban sprawl.

Of course we left a note asking “Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?”

The only time I’ve seen a Maybach was going around Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

Funny, this car belongs to Nedra Roney. One of the founders of NuSkin.
