While many may watch the Super Bowl for the football, an equal amount watch it for the advertisements in between the game. A couple days ago VW debuted their uber cute ‘The Force’ commercial spot for their new Passat, the ad we’re considering to be the highlight of this year’s game (in terms of automotive commercials). Not to be outdone, Mercedes-Benz wanted in on the action with their own Super Bowl commercial spot featuring a considerable mix of old Benzies, new models for 2011, the SLS AMG, P-Diddy, and a whole serving of “hey, look at us, we’re Mercedes Benz!!!” ego.
