Miller Mustang Drifting SEMA 2010

As huge fans of the entire Miller experience, imagine our excitement when we saw the Miller racing crew at SEMA this year! They had a drifting course set up, and gave the happy racers the green light to just hoon the Mustang track cars with eager participants inside.

The Daily Derbi got a front-row seat for the action this morning. We got a chance to ride with both drivers. AJ rode with Ross Thompson and filmed the experience of Ken-Block-drifting around a barrel…what an experience. That madness happens in the following clip (until the memory card suddenly decides it was full):

We hope you enjoyed the ridealong as much as we did. If you didn’t get enough tire-squealing action, check out the next clip as Chad Waite coaxes his driver into giving it the beans and giving our media passes a little extra love:

We got a chance to see the pile of dead tires after their Mustangs were through ripping them sideways across the asphalt, and it was not uncommon to see camber hanging off and entire chunks missing.

A HUGE thanks to the Utah motorsports pros, Miller Motorsports racing crew for putting on a world-class performance, as usual. We talked to a lot of excited passengers who got the time of their life screeching sideways and feeling heavy G’s. Your presence at the autoMecca was greatly appreciated.
