Not the Most Horrible Way to Treat a Drunk Driver

how russians treat drunk drivers

OK, we know…Violence is not the answer, everyone deserves to be treated humanely, and all that jazz, but here is a video that makes drivers everywhere feel vindicated. Why? Here is a man driving drunk in Russia with no regard for other peoples’ property or safety.

You’d be hard pressed to find someone whose life hasn’t been affected in some way by a drunk driver. There are few acts that we consider more selfish than getting behind the wheel while hopped up on grandma’s secret sauce.

In the below video, you can see how these Russians in Moscow aren’t having any of that.

To be fair, we should mention that since this is Russia, the pummeling may well have occurred not only due to the disregard for others in his sloshed haze, but rather because the law enforcement and insurance systems aren’t very reliable. We’d be pissed if someone hit our cars and tried to trounce off too, especially knowing that there’s a good chance you’d be left with your own repair bill. It would probably also be fair to mention that this is Russia, and everybody is always pissed off and looking for a fight. It’s entirely possible this scene would have occurred with or without vehicles involved, and maybe or maybe not involving a sack of potatoes.

We can’t help but think if more people were this outraged with those who choose to pilot a 4,500 lb chunk of machinery under the influence of Satan’s Sabbath Sauce, maybe it would discourage the behavior a little more.

There’s a little blood, but nothing we found to be offensive. Either way, fair warning…

I think 2 minutes and 7 seconds sets the record for the longest I’ve ever held my breath. That’s effing crazy.
