We here are huge fans of Failblog – especially for the auto-related fails and wins. Recently there have been two fantastic videos that you just have to see. Consider how aggressive performance driving is really needed in today’s society.

The first is an absolute crime-fighting…

WIN!

Here you have a Cadillac CTS driver who witnesses a purse snatching on the streets of China, and immediately jumps into action with an e-brake drift around the corner! (Who said that performance driving never did anything for anyone?) Hats off to this guy for using the machine and his driving talent in the split second that it was necessary! Caddy drifting for swift justice!

Next we have an absolute performance driving…

FAIL!

Here you can see a pair of women attempting to parallel park their midsize sedan for a whopping 13 MINUTES! I think this surpasses any gender jokes – seriously, this is ridiculous. Someone forgot to teach their daughter how to park. As you watch the clock ticking away, you see the same maneuver performed over and over…undoing any progress that was performed on the previous maneuver. We so badly want to hop in and turn the wheel right for her BEFORE she starts moving forward again.

The next time your wife questions your love for driving or your need for some track time, show her these videos. Performance driving saves lives and time.
