Not to be outdone by Ferrari, the boys from Stuttgart revealed their answer to next year’s American Le Mans Series: the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. ┬áBesides extensive revisions to the car’s aerodynamics, the new 911 GT3 RSR features a 4.0-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine that pumps out 450bhp, well under the 470bhp limit set by the series. The suspension has also been tweaked and there’s now more camber on the wheels than there is pie in Kirstie Alley’s fridge.

It’s a mean looking solution to the problem that is the new Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 and an expensive one, too. Getting one in your garage will take a massive 410,000 Euro, or, in us Yank’s terms, $548,826. That’s enough to buy a really nice house. Or Greece. Maybe both.
