It’s time! Second stop of the season for Grand-Am. This time they head to grand state of Texas. Where everything is BIGGER in Taxes! Including the newest of new race tracks – Circuit of the Americas! Helpful hint: if you want to be one of the cool kids, you call it “COTA”!

Unlike the Rolex 24 at Daytona, this is a 2 hour, 45 minute race. And unlike another series (cough ALMS cough), there’s no legal streaming option. You can watch the broadcast today on Speed starting at 5:30pm ET today. Or you can catch up with it later on Grand-Am’s website.

What to watch for?

In Daytona Prototype, Look for Chip Ganassi Racing to keep up their momentum from Daytona. Look for Michael Shank Racing and Gainsco/Bob Stallings Racing to be right on their tail.

In GT class, expect APR to keep their momentum from their win with Audi R8. Aim Autosport / Team FXDD and Extreme Speed Motorsport will put on a tough challenge with their Ferrari 458s. Scuderia Corsa Michelotto put on a strong showing during qualifying and we can’t forgot last season’s GT winner, Magnus Racing to also put fight!

In GX class, lets hope the Mazda6 GXs don’t break down, otherwise it’ll be a Porsche victory.
