Looks like Rebellion Racing has returned to give Muscle Milk some competition! Dyson Racing is returning, but without Guy Smith, who, last race provided some rather dramatic moments competing against the Muscle Milk crew. And lastly, DeltaWing will return, once again, with their new coupé.
In P2 class, it’s all Extreme Speed Motorsports and Level 5 Motorsports. Two cars from each team. Unfortunately, no european teams decided to show up.
In GT, it’s standard fare. Corvette Racing, SRT Motorsports, BMW Team RLL, Team Falken Tire, Team West/ AJR/ Boardwalk Ferrari, Risi Competizione, Paul Miller Racing, and CORE autosport.
In GTC, it appears that Dempsey Racing will be bringing back their second car, this time piloted by drivers Charlie Putman, Darren Law, and Charles Espenlaub. Long time World Challenge fans might recall those names.
37 cars in all for the 16th running of this race.
While I would have preferred to see more cars and some European Le Mans Series / WEC cars (Audi?? Toyota?? Libra Racing?? – yeah I know WEC is in Japan on the same weekend), it’s still not a bad way to end the series / season.
Who would you have like to see at this year’s race?
