Set In Stone: Lexus LFA Price Officially $375,000

In times of economic dire straights $375,000 can buy a lot. A couple new houses? No problem. Maybe a failed company or two? Sure, why not. One Lexus LFA…? Now that’s a tough pill to swallow.
Made official today, Lexus announced that $375k is the magic number it will take to get your hands on one of these 552hp Japanese supercars. Of course, that’s not factoring in the slew of fees that come with a purchase like this including destination and handling charges. Then dive into options like nav systems and upscale Mark Levinson surround-sound system and the price will surely be approaching bailout numbers.
But even if you have the money only 250 of 500 LFAs are coming stateside. Lexus is also marketing the car exclusively through a two-year lease at first, allowing the purchase after the lease is up. How much is the lease? We’re not sure yet, but we do know it will make monthly Mercs and Range Rover lease payments look like chump change.
