Remember that more-than-ridiculous $300,000 Ferrari watch that was the talk of the automotive world a few days back? If you thought that was a lot of money to drop in one setting, then this story may be a bit hard to wrap your mind around. An undisclosed buyer has put up an astonishing $17 million to buy ten of the extremely limited and amazing new One-77s, Aston Martin’s new supercar for the super rich.

Now, if you’re doing your math correctly that equates to about $1.7 million per car- a lot of green dough, right? But then the One-77 would be very, very expensive. When we say extremely limited, we’re talking about a super small production run of only 77 vehicles- that’s less than the McLaren F1 (106 units).

Here is another way to look at it: this buyer now owns 13% of the entire stock of one of the rarest cars in the world. Hell, if you love the car and got the cash, why not?

Holy crap. I have a new hero. Thank you self-declared king of Aston!

Maybe they are stocking up for the next Bond movie. I could see Daniel Craig cruising around shooting missiles at stuff from the One-77.
