I was recently approached by the Editor-In-Chief of Utah Car Czar, Utah’s foremost car show directory, about a certain Ferrari 355 he had come across. He found it in less than Ferrari-like condition and in less than Ferrari-esque surroundings. After close inspection he couldn’t decide, was it a real Ferrari or a real Fauxrrari?
Now, we’ve seen our fair share of both Ferrari’s and Fauxrrari’s in our day, but this one had us stumped. The dimensions (from what we can see in the pictures) look to be about right. The body lines seem to follow those of a true 355 as well. The wheels are clearly aftermarket but sport the proper center caps. The front grille looks to be aftermarket too. But, nothing screams “Help, I’m a Fiero trapped in a sexy Italian body!”
I think it’s a real Ferrari. A really sad and poorly cared for Ferrari.
What do you think? Take a look at the other pictures here and tell us.
