If there’s one event we’d recommend dropping all plans and getting out to this summer, it’s this one. Why? Because the Utah Grand Prix brings together not one, but two major race series all wrapped up in what has always proven to be a hugely action packed event.
First is the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, which brings loads of stock cars and puts them on a road course that all but ditches the continuous left turns so widely associated with NASCAR. Trust us when we say this is the most exciting spectator series of the summer by a huge, huge margin.
Mixed in with the action is the Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA West series, which is just a fancy title to explain a veritable exodus of lightning fast Porsche GT3 Cups blitzing around MMP’s high altitude road course.
The Utah Grand Prix starts Saturday, September 14 and ends on Sunday, September 15. Prices start at just $10 for the day, but a weekend pass can be purchased for $30, which is a downright bargain in our eyes. We will be there. So should you.
