Utah Event: Utah PACE Day 2011

Utah PACE Day

The time has come for Utah automotive enthusiasts to gather once again and bask in each other’s car loving light! That’s right, Utah PACE (Performance Automotive Club of Enthusiasts) has announced their second annual PACE Day as this Saturday, September 3 from 9am to 2pm.

2010′s PACE Day had a thoroughly impressive and diverse mix of cars. We saw everything from rat-rodded BMW 2002′s to 1500whp Toyota Supra’s. We even busted out the new Daily Derbi Miata for all to enjoy! Utah PACE Day is a celebration of the ideal that the club was founded upon- providing a place where all automotive enthusiasts from the different “scenes” in Utah can interact with a local feel.

This year’s show promises to step it up a notch with an onsite AWD dyno (courtesy of Munoa Performance), a massive prize raffle sponsored by the many, many participating vendors, DJ Erockalypze spinning the tunes, FREE pizza (courtesy of Murdock Hyundai), and of course tons of beautiful cars. Show organizers are keeping hush-hush about other activities and events but say that they “plan to out-do ourselves this year”.

Summer is almost over and there’s no better way to enjoy its last remaining days than by going to a car show. This year’s PACE Day location has changed and space will be uber limited so show organizers highly recommend you get there early.  We’ll of course be there to test your car guy/gal knowledge! See you there!

Planning on being there. It’s a long drive…

Blah, why did I have to agree to go to Lake Powell this weekend. Last year’s event was killer, so I’m sure this year will be even better.
