At one point or another in our automotive lives we’ve felt the urge to belong; to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. One group of Utah automotive enthusiasts felt that urge and decided to do something about it. They envisioned a world of automotive love and appreciation, where Evo could befriend STi , and Corvette could be pals with Viper. It would be a world with no boundaries, complete acceptance, and only one rule: that you love all things automotive! Thus, Utah’s Performance Automotive Club of Enthusiasts, or Utah PACE, was born.

Although it started rather humbly with just 5 original members, word soon spread across the Wasatch front of this new forum. Soon hundreds of Utah enthusiasts joined to discuss their favorite cars with other local enthusiasts.  Utah PACE took the standard forum model and the exclusive car club ideal and kicked them to the curb, thus opening their doors to any and all Utah car enthusiasts.

They are once again opening their doors to all of us Utah car enthusiasts by inviting us to participate in the first ever PACE Day. PACE Day is a car meet on a grand scale. Think Cars and Coffee but with more cars, more diversity, and the presence of some the State’s top automotive vendors. There will be raffle giveaways for many prizes including 2 separate 3 pull sessions on Ziptie Dynowerks’ new All Wheel Drive dyno.

Utah PACE Day begins this Saturday, August 28^th, at 10am and runs until 4pm. It’s free to all participants and offers food, drinks, vendors and live music. So shine up that ’86 Dodge Omni GLH, bring that beloved ’92 Ford Escort, and mingle with all the other Utah car enthusiasts! You know we’ll be there, come rain or shine!
