Japan: land of forbidden JDM fruit. A fruit which kids growing up in the states could only fantasize about.  Images of Honda Type R’s, Skylines, Evo’s and more flashed before our eyes as we wore our thumbs to the bone playing Gran Turismo.

Aaron Eskaran was one of those kids who later on in life decided to give his imagination a break. He jumped a plane to Japan to see it all with his own eyes. Lucky for us, Aaron is a pretty damn good cinematographer and great visual storyteller. Thanks to his latest work, we don’t have to fantasize anymore!

Watch and enjoy as Aaron pals around Japan with fellow automotive enthusiast, Tim–who just happens to own a super clean DC5 Integra Type R. No trip to Japan would be complete without a visit to a true JDM tuning shop and some track time at the beautiful Sodegaura Forest Raceway. As the saying goes, “When in Rome”…or Japan, I guess.
