Video O The Day Vol. 2: When is Low Too Low?
By Brandon Christiansen | May 19, 2010
***Come out to the Daily Derbi Karting for Charity Day, May 27th!***
We here at the Dailyderbi appreciate a lowered car. There’s something primal about a car with the perfect stance. Whether it is “tucking tire” or full on “tucking wheel”, we love it when done right. But in this Video O The Day clip of a slammed VW show car, we found ourselves asking when is low too low?
Being complete Eurotrash I find myself loving what this gentleman has done by taking chopping and slamming to a whole new level. But I can’t help but think how ridiculous this thing must be to drive. At least you’re pretty much laying down in your coffin when the distracted mom in the lifted Ford Excursion behind you rolls right over you.
Let us know your thoughts on this slammed VW and whether it should be a tuning gone wrong or hot rod of the year candidate!

I never thought I’d see a car that makes a GT-40 look like Godzilla. This thing is just weird and goofy looking. Tuning gone wrong for sure.

That is low to the extreme. Anytime you sacrifice THAT MUCH comfort for looks, it’s a recipe for disaster.

I agree. How can you even see out of it. The funny thing is that there is a rear view mirror inside by why? Tuning gone wrong indeed!
