Video: The Lamborghini Urus Officially Unveiled

By | April 23, 2012

The Lamborghini Urus Concept is revealed by Stephan WinkelmannIn the wee hours this morning in Beijing Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini, unveiled the SUV that has been causing a stir.  Officially called the Urus(pronounced “Ooh-roose), is officially only a concept for now as you will see in the video(yes, it’s in English) Mr. Winkelmann says a production version is still up in the air.  Power is expected to come from a V10 with 584hp and to share platforms with the Porsche Cayenne.  For better or for worse this is most likely the Lamborghini of the future instead of the much loved Estoque.

I dunno.. I don’t “hate it”, but I keep asking myself, “Why?”

I agree Mike. From a business stand point though it makes sense. Porsche tried it first with the Cayenne. It pissed off a lot of Porsche but it also broadened their customer range and it became their best selling vehicle until the Panamera came out. Which did the same thing. Again, Mr. Winkelmann did specifically say for now it is a concept only.
