The #007 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE. Based off the road going V8 Vantage, this car has all sorts of racing goodies beneath it’s carbon fiber shell. A V8, 4.5L engine pushing out around 500bhp. Paddleshift 6-speed sequential Xtrac transmission. 6 piston Brembo front calipers with 4 piston rear calipers. Cosworth lightweight logger. Oh, can’t forget the air-conditioning for the driver – race cars get VERY hot. All of this tipping the scales around 2,635lbs. Oh, and the iconic Gulf orange and blue livery.

Thanks Chance! AMR has been using 007 (and 009) when they’ve been involved ALMS racing in years past. Nice to see them use it again, if it was essentially a chance to get some more testing in for WEC races.

Yeah that is when they had the British Racing Green DBR9s.
