I’ve talked a bit about the #40 Robertson Racing / Doran Ford GT in the past. This is a slightly older iteration of the car. This version ran in the now defunct GT2 Class in ALMS, the “slower” of the two GT classes that ran during that time.

It is unfortunate that Roberston Racing had to bow out of ALMS racing at the end of the 2011, only to race in the Mitty12 this racing season. I still think it was very cool to see this iconic car competing in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2011.

Hopefully, we’ll see Robertson Racing return to championing the Ford GT in the future!
