Born and breed in America, this is the Chevrolet Corvette in C6.R wrappings. The Corvette is defiantly on the short list of iconic cars known around the world.
Based on the production Chevy Corvette ZR1, this is a the #3 Corvette Racing C6.R with a 5.5L GM V8 pushrod engine, producing 485 HP. It has proven to be an annoying “thorn in the side” to the likes of BMW, Porsche, Ford, and Ferrari in racing series across American and Europe. In fact, the #3 Corvette Racing won the GTEPro class at 24 hours of Le Mans this year, beating out Ferrari and BMW.
And yes, the C6.R has a smaller engine then the street ZR1. Remember, in the interest of keeping cars competitive, race series have engine and HP restrictions.
So, if you have the means, would you pick one up given the $110K+ price tag?
