Aston Martin DBS the only way to roll for Evan Lysacek

Wheaties may be the longstanding breakfast of champions but what they drive is far more interesting. Or at least that’s the case with Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek. After placing first for his routine in Vancouver, Lysack told Yahoo! Sports that his new gold medal was only half of his reward for years of training and near-flawless performance. The other half? An Aston Martin DBS.

In nearly an opposite image of his feathery costumes on the ice project, this U.S. skater has a refined taste for James Bond films and fast cars- two perfect reasons for wanting a $270,000 DBS. “Aston Martin all the way baby,” Lysack told Yahoo! reporter Martin Rogers. “Got to be the DBS. Just like Bond.”

Because of sponsorship deals and the fame that comes with winning an Olympic event, Evan hasn’t had a chance to get to an Aston dealership to pick up his new wheels yet. Give it a week or two though, and we’re sure he’ll be performing on a tarmac version of the ice ring, full of plenty of burnouts and power sliding.
